AIMS Games 2019 Volunteers Needed

Hi Everyone,

With less than 5 weeks till AIMS Games kicks off, CSBOP are looking for some volunteers to help out on the day.

We as a club are once again running the Canoe Slalom Event which is hugely important to us and the sport as a whole. We are always wanting to grow our numbers and AIMS is a great opportunity for this.

We need the following roles/ help:

Saturday 7^th September

Course set up day - 10am – 3pm 

Need 8 People – A mixture of helping set out the course both on water and on land, would be ideal for some of our senior paddler’s.

Sunday 8^th September                

Competitors training day - 9am – 2pm

Need 2-3 People – This will be to help the Y7 and Y8 participants get kitted up, help move foot rests and generally be a friendly face for the day

Monday 9^th September                

Race Day - 7am – 4pm        (Lunch is provided.) 

On the Race day we need:

Starters               (4)                       On a platform on the water – we provide all the gear.

Finishers              (3)                       Timing

Judges                 (2)

Safety                  (6)                        Both in a raft and a kayaks – CSBOP kayakers

Helpers with mustering  (4)

Compiling           (1)

This is all taking place at McLaren Falls Park, if you are keen to help but don’t have a ride get in contact and we can help organise this.
